Tom Madden serves as Executive Producer and Director of Asylum Entertainment. With over 35 years experience in stage, video and film production he has served as Artistic and Managing Director of 5 theatres (Holiday House, Market Square, Bobby Nicholas, Kean Theatre, Legacy Theatre) and has produced and/or directed over 300 theatrical productions, concerts, events, video and film productions.

As a represented writer he has written the screenplays Time (currently in production) Two Girls Kissing, Compass, The Damned, Deep End and Nine Lives. The scripts have had excellent coverage from numerous Hollywood agencies and production companies such as Disney, Zide/Perry, Dimension Films and Alphaville, to name a few. He currently has two television series in development. Out in the Street and Written in Blood are both under production consideration. He also wrote the original stage productions Viva Broadway, Hooray For Hollywood, Wake of Dreams and Scorn.

Directing credits include Pittsburgh Premiere's of CHICAGO and THE GRADUATE as well as Proof, Laughter on the 23rd Floor, The 39 Steps, Company, 12 Angry Men, Doubt, Private Lives, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, A Few Good Men and the complete works of Neil Simon. To date he has directed over 175 theatrical productions. Dramas, Comedies, Musicals or Revues: if it can be staged he has directed it.

Behind the camera he has written, produced and directed completely new campaigns for St. Barnabas, and the Kean Theatre (9 commercials, 1 thirty-minute infomercial) as well as productions for UPMC, The Altzheimers Association and numerous other organizations.

Writer, producer, director, editor, set and lighting designer he understands every aspect of production, be it film, video or stage.
