17 years ago a 24 year old JASON walked…ran…escaped the dying Pennsylvania mill town and began his life reaching for a dream. He left behind family, friends and a young woman he loved very much. He also left behind responsibilities that his brothers and sister would now shoulder. Today he is going home to bury his Mother and face the wreckage strewn about in the Wake of Dreams.
The early 80’s destroyed many Pennsylvania mill towns. The corpses of these once thriving towns dot the shores of the now quiet rivers all around Pittsburgh. The people who lived there, the people who stayed, were collateral damage to this economic genocide. Their lives, like the old rusted out mills, forgotten and discarded. The Burdett Family are one of those families.
The Father had built a thriving machine shop that provided jobs, careers and a future for the small town. The eldest son, Jason was there then, busting his ass in the filthy mill doing a job he hated and dreaming that dream. Weeks turned into months then years. When his girlfriend JENNY pulled up pregnant, he heard the steel doors slamming and knew he had to run…escape. He did and never looked back.
His brother JAMES was left behind to take over. His sister LISA found herself caring for her Mother and the family after her Dad’s death. JEFF, the youngest, was forced to leave college and help. 17 years…a lifetime trapped in the dying town trying to save a dead family business. Today they all come together to bury their Mom and realize the price that has been paid.

“The Damned” is a suspenseful and dark psychological drama/thriller with a kiss of horror. Think Polanski’s “Repulsion” with a twist of “Black Swan.”
Raised by a dutiful mother who refused to see the horror and a minister father who has damned his innocent daughter for his depraved, lustful actions, Eve must escape. The 12 year old child, torches their house as her parents sleep. The abuse is over but the horror is just beginning.
Ten years later we see the broken woman trying to navigate her shattered life. There is no trust, love or peace. Visions and voices haunt her, guilt eats away at her and all that remains is a maze of hallucinations, nightmares and horrific memories that blur what is real and what is the hell she has in-prisoned herself in. There is no escape.

The series is being presented throughout Western PA to thousands of people so book early and spend 90 minutes inside the "Dream Machine."

SCORN is a new play by Tom Madden. Based on his screenplay, the story examines betrayal and its horrific consequences.
Taci has everything a twenty-something needs: beauty, youth and a very wealthy lover. She is off to spend a romantic getaway with him at a secluded chalet high in the Sierras and forget about life's little trivial matters...like the fact that he is married with two children.
The tryst turns into a deadly affair when a winter storm rolls in trapping the mistress not with her lover, but his wife who is there to confront her. Jennifer, a strong and intelligent woman who has been reduced to the "pathetic scorned wife" can take no more. Now psychotic, she no longer recognizes herself, her life or reason. There must be penance. There must be justice.
As they await the arrival of "him" the blistering winter night plays out as the women attack, counter and destroy each other in a terrifying ride of vengeance and righteousness.
Please note the play contains graphic language with explicit sexual references and intense violence. It is intended for a mature audience and should be considered "R" in nature.
